Description

We are looking for an AI Ethics Specialist to ensure responsible and ethical AI development and deployment. This role involves assessing AI models for fairness, transparency, and compliance with ethical standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with AI engineers, policymakers, and legal teams to establish guidelines that promote accountability and mitigate biases in AI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement ethical frameworks for AI systems, ensuring fairness, accountability, and transparency.
  • Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify potential biases and ethical concerns in AI algorithms.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to enhance AI model interpretability and explainability.
  • Stay informed about global AI regulations and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Advocate for responsible AI practices by educating teams on ethical considerations in AI development.
  • Research and recommend best practices for data privacy, security, and bias mitigation in AI systems.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including regulators, policymakers, and research institutions, to shape AI governance strategies.
  • Create documentation and reports outlining ethical risks, findings, and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Ethics, AI, Data Science, Law, Philosophy, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in AI ethics, responsible AI development, or technology policy.
  • Strong understanding of AI algorithms, machine learning fairness, and bias detection techniques.
  • Familiarity with AI regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and emerging global policies.
  • Experience conducting ethical impact assessments and developing governance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex ethical challenges and propose practical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in AI research, government agencies, or corporate AI ethics teams.
  • Knowledge of legal aspects related to AI, intellectual property, and human rights.
  • Certifications in AI ethics, responsible AI, or data privacy laws.
